As you can see, our album cover to 'Colours' is very simple. There isn't too much content on the back, this allows the minimal content easy to read. The important text is intentionally capital, and is not cursive in anyway. This prevents any difficulties when the audience reads the back.
The white text contrasts very well against the darker shaded background. Of course the album is called 'Colours', as you can see on the tracklist, i have intentionally changed the font colour of 'Colours' to make it stand out against the rest of the songs.
Style models: One of my style models is Lady Gaga's 'Joanne' album. The album has a very light blue background, with white font. I do not think the light blue was a sensible choice as it makes it very difficult to read the white text. As an audience to the 'Joanne' album, this helped me decide what colour i was going to make my album back.
In comparison to my album and Lady Gaga's, there are some similarities. Her album inspired me to keep the album name in the tracklist a completely different colour the rest of the songs. This allows the song to stand out, and have significance against the read of the songs.
I have also placed the barcode in the same position as the 'Joanne' album, i like where the barcode is placed as it is 'tucked away' away from the important text and isn't a major distraction.
My other style model is Halsey's album 'Badlands'.
