Evaluation Question 3 - What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Social Media Post

At the beginning of our task, Megan and I could decide what song we were going to choice for our music video. We both took it to Facebook to ask our friends what song we should do. We gave our friends 3 options: a Halsey song, a Twenty One Pilots song or a Paramore song. We received many helpful comments such as:
·       “I love Paramore, but they use so many props and have a really colourful theme that would be hard to follow. I think a Halsey song, (Massive fan;D)”
·       “I love halseys song colours, it’s a nice song to copy. Not too fast not too slow”
·       “Paramore and Halsey…I CANT DECIDE”
Out of all 3 of the options, Halsey was the only choice to not have anything bad said on it.

Classmate Feedback

The programs for editing were new to both Megan and I, so it was a real challenge to edit our music video at first. We asked a few people among our class for a helping hand and a help they were. They taught us how to cut our scenes, how to edit them and place them in time with the song.
Style Model Comments

When we were looking at our style models feedback on different media platforms, to see reviews on the music videos. Many negative comments were left, complaining about the story of the video:
·                "I’m so confused? She was shown taking pictures of her boyfriend but her boyfriend’ s dad is on the pictures??"
·                "Why was she taking photos this makes no sense"
·                "The song doesn't match the video, why did they have to add the irrelevant story?"

The negative comments on her video helped Megan and I plan out our storyline properly.
